Made many concert tours with Choristers, including appearances at Vatican and at Notre Dame, Paris, 1912. Les Palmes Academiques, Paris, 1914; Magister Cantorum, Rome, 1914. Has lectured on church music throughout Europe and U.S.; given university courses on choral tech­nique. At Church of St. Paul the Apostle, New York, 1918-46, where he headed Paulist Choristers, famous group of men and boys specializing in music of Catholic Church, trans-icried from Chicago to New York with him in 1918. Guest conductor Hollywood Bowl, Soldiers' Field, Chicago; Boston. Returned to Old St. Mary's, Chicago 1947. Many appear­ances on radio "The Catholic Hour." World War II, U.S. Naval Reserve; U.S. Maritime Service, thirty-one months as assistant orch. leader, composed music and musical cues for T.C. radio program, Catalina Island. Pianist from age of twelve, played piano in motion-picture studios, Hollywood. Since 1946, mu­sical conductor, accompanist, vocal arranger for Frankie Laine.
